I didn't get as mature a response as Mr Civil Libertarian in the end..

Hiya - Sent, but obviously lost, will arrnage a refund. It was second hand, so unlikely to come into stock. Kind regards - Nigel

Second Hand? Sent? I take this as a personal challenge.

I've just got myself an ex-library copy for £3.
Hopefully, this seller will be a bit more reliable.

But here's another copy in a different auction.

*Slinks away before they realize I didn't tell them when the auction was still going*

Ooh, it finishes tomorrow! I can buy myself a Birthday Present... unless davy wants it, I'm a bit disillusioned by eBay because of the last.

It's your birthday? Take it dude!

And you can't be disillusioned with Ebay. It is only an intermediary between buyers and sellers and both can be fallible. That other seller was just plain weird. That sort of thing very rarely happens!

Let me know if you're not buying it cause I will snap it up.

It wasn't my Birthday, but it is now! Woo, erm, yay and stuff.

Ok, I'll bid on it now, but if you want it, feel free to try and bid against me -though not too late because I'll be at my suprise Birthday meal and that'd be cheeky!

Also, I received my refund directly into my Bank Account... you must have displeased the PayPal Gods CivLib!

Hmm, I was told there was a £6 minimum...
oh well. My copy cost £2.94, but only 99p was actually my bid, the rest was P and P.
Let's see where this other one ends up.

Yeah, it just skipped my paypal account, how peculiar.

I won the new bid; but I then received a request to cancel the transaction without reason. I'm worried about paying for it now, and I don't want to cancel it. This book best be amazing alternative history :-P
